Outreach and Engagement Officer
A.L.L. Recruitment working on behalf of our client is seeking a passionate and proactive Outreach and Engagement Officer to lead community engagement efforts across Leeds, focusing on areas of deprivation. This role is vital in reducing health inequalities and improving home safety and wellbeing for vulnerable residents.

You’ll be the face of their Home Plus service, building strong relationships with local organisations, attending community events, and driving referrals from diverse and disadvantaged communities. Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver outreach activities to promote the Home Plus service.

Build long-term partnerships with community organisations.

Attend and lead promotional events across Leeds.

Develop and maintain accurate reporting and analysis of outreach activities.

Contribute to the marketing strategy and ensure materials are up to date.

Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with GDPR, safeguarding, and lone working policies.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in community outreach and engagement, who possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal applicant will be confident working independently, managing their own time effectively, and using their initiative to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems is essential, as is a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. A genuine commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion is also fundamental to this role.

In addition, it would be advantageous if the candidate has knowledge of Leeds most deprived areas and the organisations that support vulnerable communities. Experience working in the third sector and proficiency in a community language are also desirable.

Salary: £28,000 – £29,500 (depending on experience)
Hours: 37 hours per week – Flexible working available
Holiday: 25 days holiday. Rising to 27 after 2 years and 29 after 4 years. Extra days holiday for birthday.
Location: 323 Roundhay Road, Leeds
