Joiner / Handyperson 

Our client is a not-for-profit Home Improvement Agency dedicated to helping people live safely and independently in their own homes. A.L.L. Recruitment are working with them in looking for a skilled and compassionate Joiner or Handyperson to join their Home Plus team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older, disabled, and vulnerable people across Leeds.

In this role, you will carry out a variety of joinery tasks and general repairs in clients’ homes, with a focus on supporting hospital discharges and preventing falls. You’ll be installing adaptations such as grab rails, moving furniture, and completing minor repairs that help people return home safely and live independently. You’ll also have the opportunity to train as a trusted assessor, enabling you to recommend and fit adaptations in a single visit.

We’re looking for someone with relevant joinery or maintenance experience, who is confident working in people’s homes and understands the importance of delivering excellent customer service. You’ll need to be friendly, respectful, and physically capable of handling a range of tasks.

We offer

Salary: £30,000 per annum (full-time), pro rata for part-time
Hours: 37 Hours per week. Full-time or part-time available
Holiday: 25 days holiday. Rising to 27 after 2 years and 29 after 4 years. Extra days holiday for birthday.
